Pullman Jakarta Central Park will be hosting its 6th Art Exhibiton “Interlude” that showcases some of the most extraordinary paintings and sculptures by renowned local artists, Yogie A Ginanjar and Erwin Windu Pranata from Bandung.
The word Interlude ‘intervening period of time’, ‘a pause between the acts of play’ in which reflects the two different artwork styles between Erwin which showcased the various form of aesthetic sculptures and wall art installations while Yogie shared some of his latest semi-abstract paintings.
“Interlude” is the chronological process of how both artists express their state of change where they shared their various forms of new experiences outside their comfort zone through the use of new visuals and mediums.
Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer, AccorHotels Indonesia,Malaysia and Singapore said, “The exhibition is part of AccorHotels’ 25 year anniversary celebration of the Group in Indonesia and the event helps to highlight the art and cultural scene in the country giving recognition to local artists in their talent for art.”
Through the paintings and sculptures, both artists showcased their search process with the type of art and style they enjoyed most. This ‘search process’ is a result of contemporary art that falls under the hotel’s existing art collection. The hotel has held a number of art exhibitons over the years as part of its brand initiative to bring cultural intrigue and visual ingenuity in its communal spaces.
Rhys Challenger, General Manager, Pullman Jakarta Central Park added, “This is our 6th Art Exhibition held at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park. Themed the INTERLUDE, the event is our way of showing support to the emerging local artists and have them showcase their artwork to a wider audience.”
INTERLUDE art exhibition by Pullman Jakarta Central Park is available for public viewing from 13 to 24 November 2018 at L Floor and all artworks displayed will be available for purchase.
